About Kent Gammon, BSc, LLB, LLM

Kent Gammon has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies (Hons.) (1994) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons.)(1997) which he obtained from the University of the West Indies.

He was enrolled as a lawyer in Jamaica in 1999 and then in New South Wales, Australia in 2006 after having completed a Master’s degree in Commercial and Corporate Law at the University of New South Wales (2004).

He specializes in civil litigation particularly in commercial law and has made several appearances at the Court of Appeal (Jamaica) and has prepared briefs for matters at the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (UK). He also has considerable experience in commercial law.

Kent Gammon has been appointed a director to several companies boards that complements his commercial law experience. He was chairman of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee in 2008 to 2011.

He tutored in Philosophy of Law at the University of the West Indies (2004-2006).
